I have been taking photos of this family for a few years now, and I have to say, these are my favorite photos of them yet! It is so beautiful to see how this family has grown! Little Jack has always been so great at charming the camera, and he is becoming such a handsome little man! Ella is a little bundle of sunshine and smiles. The two of them together is a total cuteness overload! Meg and Matt are seriously owning this whole parenting thing, and looking great while they do it! What an awesome, adorable bunch!
Clare’s Senior Photos
The lovely, vibrant Clare is graduating on Saturday! I met her and her mother last night for senior photos. It has been raining and storming for weeks now, so we jumped at the chance to take advantage of the sunny day yesterday. I had so much fun photographing Clare, and I just loved the outfits she picked out (gotta have those cowgirl boots!). Besides being impeccably fashionable, I found out that Clare is also quite sporty. She played basketball, volleyball and softball during her high school years. Congratulations, Clare, your future looks bright!
Family Photos at Rochelle Park
I got to take pictures of yet another awesome family at Rochelle Park. This family is great, and I just love their purple color scheme! The kiddos were the best – sweet Adam, sassy Siena and cutie pie extraordinaire, Emma. Anna and Joe are such a cool couple, and have so much love for their children. Here are my favorite pictures of this cute bunch!
Family of Three with a Baby on the Way
I got to take pictures of this cute bunch last week. Kate, Ray and Ray-mo are awaiting the arrival of baby Gia, and with Christmas around the corner, it was a great time for some family/maternity pictures! Kate and Ray are such a cute couple, and Ray-mo is quite a rambunctious three years old! Also, I love the blue and gray color scheme they picked for their outfits. Is this a sweet family, or what?
Journey – One Year Later
It was so awesome to meet up with Christina, Patrick and Journey one year later and see how this family has grown! Not only is Journey looking like such a little girl now, but Christina is expecting again! Journey is such a cutie pie. I recognized the same mischievous and sweet attitude that I experienced last time I met up with her and her parents, but now she is no longer a baby! She has learned so many words, many of which were Mandarin! I was impressed! Christina and Patrick, you have an awesome little girl there. I can’t wait to meet the next baby!
Joey’s First Birthday — a Family Affair
Joey has turned one-year-old, and to commemorate, we snapped some picture of this adorable little guy and his family-mom, dad, grandpa and grandma! Inez and Dave are such an awesome couple–and cute to boot! Joey’s grandparents, Rafael and Mary, live in southern Texas, and came up to visit for the weekend. Joey is their first grandchild, and it was so awesome to see them playing with him. There is so much love in this family!
I had so much fun with everyone. The whole family was so laid back, and constantly laughing, smiling and joking. One of my favorite moments was when Mary, trying to get Joey to look for a picture, started quacking and flapping her arms. Inez was turned away for the picture, and lamented that she didn’t get to see her mom acting so hilarious. I was sorry I didn’t snap a picture for her!
Baby Joseph is One!
I met Joseph and his parents on Saturday to take some picture for his first birthday. Joseph is such a smart little man! His impressive vocabulary includes “baby” “hoo-ray!” “quack” and many Spanish words (mom and dad both speak Spanish as well as English. I’m jealous.) Bryan and Elanita are such good parents to Joseph, and I am so excited for them because they are expecting another baby soon! Before we called it a day, we stopped to look at the ducks at on the pond. Joseph loved it! When mom and dad told him we were going to see the ducks, he started quacking in anticipation! What a cutie!
Birthday Cake Smash!
What better way to celebrate a first birthday then a birthday cake smash? I met Vincent and his family at Rochelle park on Saturday. We snapped some family photos and then set up for birthday celebrations! This family is awesome! Brendan and Danna were so friendly and filled with love for their kids and each other. Jackson is the awesome big brother. He is such a sweet young man and a great helper! I was so impressed by his maturity. And Vincent–well he is quite the cutie pie, as you can see!
Patrick’s Birthday
Patrick is one year old! To mark the occasion, I got to take some pictures of this little man and his awesome parents!
Stephanie, Mike and Patrick were our first neighbors here in Irving. When we first met last year, Stephanie would bring Patrick for a play date, which consisted mostly of the babies lying on their backs and looking at each other inquisitively. Nowadays, Patrick is all over the place, pulling up and going back down again, and crawling all over the room. I have just loved watching him grow! Patrick will often greet you with a solemn, serious face, but give him a smile or a tickle and you will quickly see him light up. What a cutie!
Mercy & Josi
Look at these cute gals! I love taking pics of this spunky mother-daughter combo. Josi is constantly on the move. As Mercy put it, take care of this baby for a week and you’ll drop ten pounds. Josi may be rambunctious, but Mercy can keep up and then some. These two are a force to be reckoned with!
Irving is iced in right now, so I hope these pictures serve as a reminder of the beauty of autumn. It feels like I was soaking in the warm sun just yesterday (probably because I was, on Wednesday!). Next up, an ice and snow photo shoot. How bout it, Mercy?
