Clare & Mark’s Winter Engagement

I am beyond excited to share these pictures of my gorgeous sister and her awesome fiance! While visiting home this Christmas, I jumped at the chance to take engagement photos of Clare and Mark against the backdrop of beautiful Montana. This was definitely the most extreme photo shoot I have ever done! Mark and Clare braved the cold (in Clare’s case in heels!), hiked a snowy mountain, and looked good doing it! It meant a lot to me to be able to take these photos. If you know Mark and Clare, you probably had the same reaction as I did when these two started dating: “FINALLY!”. Clare is beautiful inside and out and passionate about helping others. I have known Mark for years and I am so thrilled that this dapper, genuine, kind, smart, guy is joining our family. These two are the most adorable couple and–as I think you can tell from the photos–crazy about each other to boot! Congratulations you crazy kids!

Gabe & Katie’s Engagement

I love how Gabe and Katie planned the details of their engagement session to create something meaningful and unique to them. It was so fun hanging out with these two as they had a tea party picnic, did a little bit of light reading, and shared the stories of how they met and got engaged. These two are the real deal, everyone, and I couldn’t be happier for them! Congratulations, Katie and Gabe!

Lee & Kelly’s Engagement Photos

Two middle school science teachers at a classical academy in Texas fall in love and get engaged. If this sounds too perfect to be true- it’s not! Not only are Kelly and Lee the most amazing couple, but they are also total science nerds! I love it! At one point they were both geeking out over a lizard they spotted! I really enjoyed hanging out with these two. They were so relaxed and natural around each other, and they are seriously two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They make such a perfect couple. Congratulations, Lee and Kelly!

Phil and Veronica – Engaged!

Phil and Veronica are such a classy and fun couple! I really enjoyed hanging out with them in downtown Dallas while taking engagement photos. Phil is the philosopher, always ready to whip up a clarifying syllogism or contemplate a deep philosophical truth. Chic and stylish Veronica is literary-minded, and can recommend a good book anytime. Both appreciate the value of good friends, a good conversation, and a good scotch. The always-classy Veronica is originally from the west coast, and Phil hails from the east coast. How fitting that they met in the middle here in Texas! I can’t wait to see what the future brings them! Congratulations, you two!

Jordan & Raphael

I’m so excited for my cousin, Raphael, and his beautiful fiance, Jordan. I really enjoyed shooting this mountainous engagement session in Helena, Montana. This is one legit American couple; they love shooting, beer, bald eagles and freedom. Raph is hilariously sarcastic, and Jordan can dish it right back to him! They are getting married this winter, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

Dorothy & Michael

Dorothy and Michael are so in sync, it’s like they have been married for years. Their story is classic; they have known each other since they were about 12. I asked them once if it was love at first sight, to which Dorothy responded with a smirk that when they first met she thought Michael was short. This kind of playful levity is characteristic of their dynamic. In addition, they share a peacefulness that is a testimony to the stability of their relationship. These two are meant to be!
